This was the best week ever! The weather was perfect all week. The condo was perfect for just me and my son. The room was clean, the bed slept comfortably. Studio was just how described. Didn't realize it came with a murphy bed. Never slept in one but it was quite comfortable. Very quiet older neighborhood and steps to the beach. Staff and housekeeping went above and beyond as to drive me to a restaurant and went to pick up sundries I forgot at Publix.
There really isn't much amenities within walking distance. Which was perfect for me. However, if you wish to do a bit of exploring, eating out and seeing the sights, highly recommend a rental unless you want to spend money on Uber.
With my previous experiences with vacation rental by owner sites, my family found leftovers from previous renters. Such things as beach towels, water toys. Most importantly condiments,spices etc. And even on occasion a bottle of vodka on the freezer! However, with covid, the place was wiped clean. So those of you who plan on doing any cooking or snacking, be prepared to go shopping. Also, there were no beach towels which I bought from the convince store.

Overall place was great, had unit for two weeks. Things I'd like changed/updated - THAT couch has got to go!! Rolling bar cart would be great for food prep area (very little counter area) Floor lamp would be nice addition. Where I live at night it is DARK so pole light in parking lot shining thru blinds was bothersome so bought black sheet to cover window so maybe some kind of shade that could be drawn. Shower could use LOT more pressure. Things I like - SO CLOSE TO BEACH!! Murphy bed was comfortable and by having it really opened up floor space. Well within walking distance to some great places to eat. Had an issue with heat first night so management sent space heaters right away. Other guests were friendly. Unit is on ground floor and beach side so really quiet at night. All in all a great place to spend time out of wintery Illinois. I'll be back!

This little condo was absolutely what I was looking for on my week-long beach solo getaway! Just a couple minutes from the water, I could walk in for a snack or refresh my drink, not worry about leaving my things on the beach. There are so many things to do in the area - I had a blast! Property was very clean and quiet while I was there; a mixture of couples and small families during my stay. It was never noisy at night. I'd go again!

Loved this quiet, clean studio where I could walk right across the street to the beach. WiFi was good so I could easily work as well. Small gas station/convenience store next door and lots of places to eat within just a few miles.

Great Location! Steps from the beach. Great having a convenience store beside the parking lot. I have been coming to this area for years and this is by far been my favorite rental due to location and convenience. Perfect 1st floor so I can store my fishing tackle without having to go thru elevators, parking decks, etc. Also nice to have vehicle within in sight (right at your door) in case you need something. Very pleased with this place, and I look forward to coming back!!
